What You’ll Do

This Contract-to-Hire Project Engineer role supports large-scale industrial construction and engineering projects (aviation, logistics, distribution, postal, food & beverage). Working with a confidential client, you'll support planning and execution, coordinate between office and field teams, and develop into a project leadership role.

  • Support project planning, coordination, and execution from kickoff through completion
  • Work directly with clients, owners, vendors, and internal project teams
  • Track project schedules, budgets, action items, and deliverables
  • Coordinate between office and field personnel to ensure project success
  • Assist with submittals, RFIs, reports, logs, and project documentation
  • Support technical problem-solving on conveyor and material handling systems, structural steel, and related industrial systems
  • Travel to project sites as needed
  • Develop skills toward independently leading projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 0–3 years relevant experience — recent graduates and entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Bluebeam experience preferred
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus

Job Type & Location

  • Employment type: Contract (Contract-to-Hire) — Full time
  • Location: Federal Heights, CO (work will be on-site at project locations with some office/hybrid flexibility)

Compensation

  • Pay range: $48.00 – $65.00 per hour
  • Final offer within this range will depend on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
