What You’ll Do

This Entry-Level Project Engineer will support project delivery across construction and industrial manufacturing engagements. Typical responsibilities include:

• Support planning, execution, and on-time delivery of construction and industrial projects.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate technical activities between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, field installation, and customers.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and basic financial reporting.
• Review change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Conduct or support site visits and field coordination as required.
• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies to keep scope, schedule, and budget on track.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Construction Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Understanding of project budgeting and cost-control fundamentals.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and project coordination skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills and experiences that will help you advance quickly:

• Experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD/design tools.
• Exposure to project controls, scheduling tools, and project management principles.
• Experience reviewing contracts, change orders, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of mechanical, structural, or industrial equipment systems.
• EIT certification or strong interest in pursuing professional development toward project management.
