What You’ll Do

  • Support process design for life sciences projects, including development and modification of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Model and simulate unit operations to verify process sequencing and performance using simulation tools.
  • Develop process specifications, equipment data sheets, and process flow sheets under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist in establishing process design basis and evaluate process options and optimizations.
  • Support construction, installation, and operational testing to ensure conformance with specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Track schedule and technical quality for assigned engineering tasks; communicate progress and risks to project leads.
  • Prepare and organize process calculation packages and technical documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and learn through mentorship from professional engineers and subject-matter experts.

Who We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
  • Authorization to work in the United States now and in the future (no visa sponsorship).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work on-site in Conshohocken, PA and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred

  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Relevant internship or co-op experience in process engineering or life sciences facilities.
  • Working knowledge of ASPEN-HYSYS, AFT Fathom & Arrow, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or actively pursuing EIT.
  • Familiarity with process safety, sanitary design, and industry codes is a plus.
