Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Process Engineering Professional to join their Life Sciences team in Conshohocken, PA. This is an entry-level, full-time, hybrid role (office-based 2–5 days/week) supporting biopharma/pharmaceutical engineering projects. You will contribute to project deliverables and learn how to develop and interpret Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment lists and equipment data sheets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support project teams to develop process deliverables including PFDs and P&IDs
  • Assist in creating and updating Equipment Lists and Equipment Data Sheets
  • Learn to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for life‑science facilities
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to help complete assigned tasks on schedule
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare technical documentation and presentations
  • Participate in review meetings and incorporate feedback into deliverables

Qualifications (Required)

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different levels of the project team
  • Effective time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous design internship or relevant co-op experience in process/bioprocess engineering
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future)
  • Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) or engineering drawing conventions

  • Location: Conshohocken, PA (hybrid; expected 2–5 days/week in-office)

Compensation

  • Estimated annual pay shown on source: $81,708 (per year, estimated). Exact salary and benefits will be provided by Confidential Client during the hiring process in accordance with applicable law.
