What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking compassionate, entry-level Play-Based Therapists (Behavior Technicians) to deliver ABA-informed, play-based services for children with neurodevelopmental differences.

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services using evidence-based, play-centered methods
• Implement positive behavior strategies and individualized teaching plans developed with your supervising BCBA
• Collect and document session data accurately in EMR systems to track progress toward treatment goals
• Collaborate closely with families and clinical supervisors to reinforce learning across home, school, and community settings
• Follow established crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting procedures

• Pay range: $21.18 to $28.42 per hour (based on experience and education)

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children; experience with autism or neurodevelopmental differences is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s or master’s degree acceptable
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently between client sites (typically within a 30–40 minute radius)
• Comfortable with basic technology — EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• Commitment to a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming model of care

• Location: Mission Viejo, CA (on-site; travel between client homes as assigned)
• Employment type: Part-time with flexible scheduling options
• This role requires a post-offer background check and motor vehicle report review
