Schedule & Compensation
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Compensation: $20.20 per hour (estimated annual pay: $63,731)
This position is full-time and eligible for benefits (see Benefits section). The final offer will reflect experience, education, location, and internal equity.
Role overview
Confidential Client is seeking motivated, curious individuals to join a PFAS testing team in an environmental testing laboratory. You’ll help produce high-quality analytical data that protects communities and ecosystems while developing lab skills and building a long-term career in environmental science. Training is provided for entry-level candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Work with analytical instruments to analyze environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods for PFAS and other contaminants
- Review and interpret sample analysis results to support data quality and reporting
- Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain organized laboratory records and traceability
- Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment according to protocols
- Follow lab safety procedures and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — provided by Confidential Client)
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM field — or an equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and working around strong odors when required
- Attention to detail and strong documentation habits to ensure quality data and regulatory compliance
- Willingness to follow established laboratory methods and safety procedures
