Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Outside Sales Representative (Outside Sales Market Development Specialist) in Bellmawr, NJ. This full-time role is a field sales position focused on building relationships with local businesses — restaurants, small retailers, and other commercial customers — to sell foodservice supplies, paper, janitorial products, shipping/packaging, and other everyday business essentials. This role is ideal if you enjoy meeting people, prospecting in the field, and growing a territory with coaching and support.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and develop new business across an assigned territory by car and on foot
• Visit local restaurants, retail shops, and small businesses to introduce product solutions
• Build rapport with owners and purchasing decision-makers, understand needs, and present product and pricing options
• Demonstrate products and promotional materials; help customers get set up on web tools (e.g., online ordering)
• Follow up on leads, close new accounts, and coordinate with inside sales and onboarding teams for smooth customer transitions
• Attend regular branch sales meetings and collaborate with sales and delivery teams to service accounts

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, or similar customer-facing roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
• Ability to converse, read, and write in English
• Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) from a four-year college — preferred but not required
• Comfortable prospecting by car and on foot across an assigned territory

• Pay: $60,000 – $65,000 annually plus bonus opportunities
