Overview
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring an Entry-Level Operations Specialist for an on-site role in Kentwood, MI. This is an entry-level, full-time role on an operations team that supports carrier and customer sales functions. You’ll work in a fast-paced logistics/customer-services environment, focusing on high-volume phone and email outreach, shipment updates, basic negotiations with contractors, and data entry.

What You’ll Do
- Obtain shipment updates from contractors and carriers
- Perform high-volume phone and email outreach to vendors and internal teams
- Support carrier sales by negotiating rates and exploring cost-effective options
- Provide timely updates and operational solutions to sales and operations colleagues
- Complete general data entry and maintain accurate shipment records
