What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Office Analyst (Program Planning / Scheduling) to support program leadership and the AS Business Management organization. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining integrated program schedules and helping the team identify and mitigate schedule risk.
- Ensure major projects and program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Track plans and schedules; perform schedule and risk analyses; identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Use project management techniques — Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and earned value management — to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
- Prepare schedule reports, maintain baseline and forecast updates, and support corrective actions on critical items.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect schedule inputs and update plans.
- Support ad-hoc planning and data analysis requests from program leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ experience in program planning, project management, industrial engineering, or similar planning function — OR — Master’s degree with entry-level experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to work with stakeholders across functions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret clearance.
- Eligible to work on a hybrid schedule in Palmdale, CA.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Excel Macro / VBA skills.
- Experience with Deltek Acumen Risk.
- Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) and common scheduling tools.
- Exposure to large program environments (aerospace, defense, or complex engineering programs).
Compensation & Schedule
- Estimated pay (source): $86,589 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Work schedule: Hybrid / onsite in Palmdale, CA (per the authoritative job location).
