Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Associate Neurophysiologist (Regional Traveler) to join a regional response team covering the Mid‑Atlantic territory. This is a full‑time, traveling clinical role with paid training, travel reimbursements, and opportunities to support a variety of surgical cases across multiple hospitals. Candidates must live within the Mid‑Atlantic region and be able to travel by car for weekly assignments.
What You’ll Do
- Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring (IOM) support during surgical procedures, communicating monitoring information to surgeons and OR teams.
- Obtain and document patient history and discuss structures at risk and monitoring modalities with the surgical team.
- Display, label, and analyze waveforms; mark and measure latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times per established protocols.
- Select appropriate monitoring protocols and perform troubleshooting to ensure accurate data collection.
- Complete required documentation, maintain IOM logs, and ensure timely uploads.
- Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Represent Confidential Client professionally and comply with company policies, codes of conduct, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Operating Room (OR) experience preferred but not required — entry level candidates encouraged to apply.
- Able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs (IONM system, laptop, supplies).
- Strong time management, organization, and adaptability in fast-paced OR schedules.
- Effective verbal communication in English and ability to collaborate with surgical teams.
- Comfortable with regular overnight travel and changing weekly assignments across the Mid‑Atlantic region (VA, WV, MD, DC, PA, NJ).
- Must meet hospital credentialing requirements (may include physical or vaccination requirements).
- Eligible for medical malpractice coverage at standard rates (insurance provided by Confidential Client).
Travel & Physical Demands
- Overnight travel multiple days per week; most travel is by car.
- Regularly transport and set up IONM equipment (~50 lbs).
- Ability to stand for periods, bend, use manual dexterity, and wear protective PPE (gloves, masks, gowns, goggles) as required.
- Requires reliable private transportation and a valid driver’s license.
