Role Summary
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer based in Los Angeles, CA. This is a mentored, hands-on engineering role where you will support design work for single elements (for example: pumps, piping/line sizing, heat exchangers) while developing engineering calculations, design skills, and coordination abilities under the guidance of more senior engineers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop understanding of client, industry, regulatory and code requirements.
- Prepare engineering calculations as directed using provided scope and criteria.
- Support design of systems and single-element components (e.g., pumps, piping, heat exchangers).
- Perform technical assignments and documentation tasks as directed.
- Coordinate and communicate with drafters and other team members to support project deliverables.
- Work toward greater independence in system design and calculation development.
