Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant to support marketing and sales activities at an onsite location in Plainfield, NJ. This hands-on role combines face-to-face retail marketing, direct consumer engagement, and lead generation to help grow client revenue. Local candidates who can start ASAP are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Engage face-to-face daily with potential customers to present promotions and product demonstrations
• Represent the brand in direct marketing campaigns and promotional events
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and existing clients; act as a point of contact for consumer relations
• Generate leads, drive sales, and support follow-up activities with the sales team
• Track and report outreach results, maintain accurate customer records, and support marketing event logistics
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on promotional strategy and in-store execution

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable with in-person customer interactions and basic sales activities
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Plainfield, NJ
• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is a plus

• Estimated base salary: $41,754 per year (estimated)
• Guaranteed base salary plus uncapped performance pay (commission/incentives)
