What You’ll Do

This entry-level Manufacturing Engineer role provides hands-on training and exposure to aluminum extrusion production. You will work alongside experienced engineers and operations teams to learn production processes, support continuous improvement (CI) efforts, and help optimize safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

• Assist in learning and documenting established production processes and protocols
• Support day-to-day operations monitoring to ensure process adherence
• Help maintain and update process documentation in alignment with company and ISO standards
• Participate in structured training programs for extrusion equipment, materials, and die-change procedures
• Contribute to CI initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
• Assist with basic problem-solving and root-cause analysis
• Support onboarding and training efforts as your knowledge grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• 0–1 year of experience (internships or co-op experience in manufacturing preferred)
• Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and aluminum extrusion
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Estimated salary: $51,571 per year (estimated)

• On-site — Memphis, TN (this position supports production in an aluminum extrusion operation)
