Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to support on-site manufacturing and assembly operations in Dubuque, IA. This early-career, hands-on position focuses on quality troubleshooting, process verification, and supporting new product introductions to ensure robust part fabrication and delivery to the assembly line. This role is 100% on-site and includes a full benefits package.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality investigations, containment actions, and recommend corrective actions to prevent line-down situations
  • Work with product line teams to identify, prioritize, and document reliability trends
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction
  • Represent quality in meetings and reviews; participate in quality planning
  • Create and monitor quality documentation; drive resolution of factory quality issues
  • Track quality metrics and provide feedback to design teams
  • Identify manufacturing process improvements and monitor product quality trends
  • Complete process verification audits and document corrective actions
  • Support operator training and certification for assembly personnel
  • Lead or participate in SCRUM/AGILE projects to improve line quality
  • Manage Return Goods Authorization (RGA) processes and recommend field actions
  • Monitor and manage quality dashboards and reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field OR equivalent industry experience
  • 100% on-site presence required (Dubuque, IA)
  • Basic understanding of construction / off-road equipment preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position

Desired Attributes

  • Ability to communicate technical and high-level concepts clearly
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, sheet metal, hydraulics, electrical systems, or paint processes is a plus

  • Estimated salary: $80,454 per year (estimated)
