Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Loan Officer (ACES Lending Officer) in Oak Park, CA. This is an entry-level, full-time, inside-sales role with paid training, NMLS licensing support, company-provided leads, and a clear path to a Licensed Lending Officer position with commission-based earnings.
What You’ll Do
You will complete a structured training program to prepare for the SAFE / NMLS licensing process and learn the end-to-end mortgage and HELOC lending lifecycle. After training you will support customers over the phone, convert leads provided by the company, and grow into a licensed Loan Officer role with a commission/bonus structure.
- Participate in paid training to prepare for the NMLS / SAFE licensing exam
- Learn the loan lifecycle (origination, processing basics, and funding considerations)
- Handle inbound/outbound customer conversations and presentations by phone
- Convert company-provided leads and nurture referral opportunities
- Use loan origination and CRM software to track prospects and loan progress
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and production metrics
- Maintain high ethical standards and compliant documentation
Responsibilities
- Dedication to learning through a structured ACES training program
- Actively pursue sales opportunities from company-provided leads
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
- Use technology and loan software to manage pipeline and customer records
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced inside-sales environment
- Accept coaching and feedback to continuously improve performance
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals — call center sales experience highly preferred
- Must be able to commute to Oak Park, CA full-time
- Ability and willingness to study for and pass the NMLS exam and obtain required state and national mortgage licenses
- Strong phone-based sales and customer relationship skills
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a coachable mindset
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base hourly training rate: $15/hour during ACES paid training
- Estimated total compensation (for typical production levels): $75,491 per year (estimate)
- Post-training compensation moves to Licensed Lending Officer pay structure: hourly minimum plus per-origination/funding bonus incentives
