What You’ll Do
As an Entry‑Level Lighting/Electrical Engineer based in Wellston, MO, you will join a project team to produce construction documents and support lighting design for building and transportation projects. In this role you will:
- Work with senior electrical and lighting engineers to develop lighting design and electrical construction drawings
- Produce and QA design deliverables in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation
- Coordinate lighting layout, fixture schedules, and circuiting with architects, roadway engineers, and other disciplines
- Assist with photometric modeling and lighting calculations (AGI32 or similar)
- Support construction plan preparation and respond to design coordination requests
- Communicate technical information clearly to team members and project stakeholders
- Participate in design reviews and learn company standards and project workflows
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications (required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (the client cannot sponsor at this time)
Preferred / helpful experience:
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or successful completion of the FE exam
- Hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation
- Familiarity with photometric software such as AGI32
- Experience preparing construction plans and working with multidisciplinary teams (architects, interior designers, roadway engineers, lighting designers)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of project management
