What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level, hands-on laboratory role focused on environmental monitoring and sampling in controlled environments. Typical responsibilities include:
- Perform sampling activities in biosafety cabinets and cleanrooms following established SOPs
- Collect and document environmental monitoring (EM) samples; support EM program execution
- Monitor biohazard risks tied to tissue materials and follow proper decontamination procedures
- Collaborate with microbiology and operations teams to maintain program standards
- Support continuous improvement efforts for environmental monitoring processes and sampling workflows
- Follow PPE requirements and maintain accurate, timely records in laboratory systems
Qualifications
Minimum and preferred qualifications for immediate consideration:
- Currently enrolled in a science degree program (Associate/Bachelor) with multiple laboratory courses — OR —
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with lab coursework
- Candidates with a High School Diploma plus regulated quality and/or laboratory experience may be considered depending on specifics
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and basic lab safety awareness
- Comfortable working scheduled shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd); most openings are 2nd or 3rd shift
- Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom/biosafety cabinet environment
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with environmental monitoring, cleanroom sampling, or microbiology workflows
- Familiarity with basic lab documentation and following GMP/QMS procedures
Pay & Benefits
- Pay range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (actual offer within range will depend on qualifications, experience, and other factors)
