Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring entry-level Java / AI engineers and data science–focused developers for full-time, remote-capable positions based in Los Angeles, CA. This program is ideal for recent CS, Math, Engineering, or Statistics graduates and career switchers who want hands-on project experience, interview coaching, and certification support (Oracle, AWS, Azure) while being marketed to hiring teams.
What You’ll Do
- Work on real production-style projects in Java, Python, or data/ML pipelines.
- Develop services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices patterns.
- Build and analyze datasets; apply analytics and machine learning to solve business problems.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams; practice version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Prepare for technical interviews and certifications with guided training and mock interviews.
- Transition from training to client placements; receive placement support and employer introductions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with at least one of: Java or Python.
- Basic understanding of data structures & algorithms and software development fundamentals.
- Comfortable learning cloud concepts (AWS/Azure) and modern development toolchains.
