Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Inside Sales Representative in Hauppauge, NY. This is a full-time, customer-facing inside sales role focused on building customer relationships, responding to inbound inquiries, and generating new business via phone and email. Estimated pay: $53,647 per year (estimated).
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries by phone and email
- Make outbound calls to generate new business opportunities
- Learn and promote the client’s product lines and services
- Participate in virtual meetings with customers and prospects
- Coordinate with customer service and production/operations teams to deliver a great customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system
- Meet individual and team sales goals
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and customer events; occasional travel may be required
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, coachable attitude with a desire to learn and grow in sales
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office required (Excel intermediate or better)
- Familiarity with CRM systems; experience with AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus
- Previous customer service or sales experience helpful but not required — training is provided
