Position summary
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Industrial Engineer (1st shift) for a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time, on-site role supports production optimization, cost analysis, and new product introduction in a make-to-order power distribution manufacturing environment. Shift hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production operations
- Conduct cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and capital decisions
- Prepare production cost estimates used for quoting, planning, and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align on equipment and cost planning
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Support layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational efficiency
- Apply industrial engineering tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling
- Maintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes
- Support new product introduction and improvements to production lines and fixtures
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Exposure to manufacturing equipment and production systems
- Experience with ERP systems and engineering software (examples: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, simulation tools)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a continual and permanent basis without employer sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
- Lean or Six Sigma certification (or coursework)
- Experience in complex manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, or similar)
- Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP platforms
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, cost modeling)
Compensation & logistics
- Estimated pay: $93,635 per year (illustrative)
- Reported range in original posting: $55,264–$105,509 per year
- Schedule: 1st shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Employment type: Full-time, On-site (Fort Worth, TX)
