What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Industrial Engineer role on 1st shift supporting on-site manufacturing operations in the DFW area. You will work with production teams to analyze processes, reduce waste, and support new product introductions.

  • Analyze manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to improve throughput and reduce variability.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and layout planning to optimize production lines.
  • Develop and maintain equipment lists, fixture designs, and equipment/specification documentation.
  • Prepare production cost estimates and perform cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and quoting.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align on equipment planning, cost targets, and implementation timelines.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling tools.
  • Maintain documentation for process changes, cost models, and performance metrics.
  • Help implement practical solutions on the factory floor and support change management with production teams.

Qualifications

Basic requirements (what will make your application competitive):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Hands-on familiarity with manufacturing equipment, production environments, and basic process analysis.
  • Experience with engineering and ERP tools (examples: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel; exposure to simulation tools is a plus).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred (nice-to-have skills):

  • Lean / Six Sigma exposure or certification.
  • Experience in complex manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar).
  • Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, cost modeling) and the ability to produce clear documentation and cost estimates.

Schedule & Location

  • Shift: 1st shift — 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • On-site role in the DFW area (facility referenced in the posting is in the Fort Worth / Grand Prairie / Cedar Hill vicinity). This is not a remote role.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
