What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level In Vivo Scientist to join a laboratory team supporting nonclinical in vivo studies. This hands-on role focuses on animal dosing, specimen collection, and accurate experimental recordkeeping under established protocols and SOPs.
- Set up and conduct experiments according to Protocols and SOPs.
- Prepare test solutions and diets per directions.
- Dose animals and evaluate biological responses.
- Perform necropsies and collect blood, urine, fecal and tissue specimens following SOPs.
- Maintain precise, GLP-style records of all experiments.
- Assist with data compilation and writing of study reports.
- Follow all site safety requirements and laboratory practices.
- Ability to safely wear a respirator is required.
Qualifications
Basic requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, biology, or equivalent experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one year of full-time college in a related major).
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Preferred / ideal
- Experience handling rats or mice is highly desired.
- Strong organizational, computer, and scientific skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment; self-motivated and adaptable.
- Comfortable learning new techniques, multitasking, and following protocols and company policies.
Schedule & Location
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Candidates within a commutable distance of South Brunswick / Dayton, NJ (08810) are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $21/hr to $25/hr, DOE.
