What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Highway Designer (2027 Graduate) to join a multidisciplinary transportation design team focused on roadway and highway projects. In this role you will:
- Work within teams of designers, engineers, and construction professionals to develop practical transportation design solutions
- Perform roadway geometry and pavement layout tasks
- Assist with drainage and stormwater design components
- Support utility coordination and utility design tasks
- Contribute to traffic control plans and temporary traffic staging
- Prepare preliminary and final design plans and construction documents
- Help produce contract documents, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Participate in construction phase services and field inspections
- Support traditional and alternative delivery approaches, including design‑build
- Coordinate with specialists in bridge, traffic, environmental, utilities, and stormwater disciplines

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required)
- 0–1 years of professional transportation engineering experience (entry level)
- EIT or EIT in-process is a plus
- Roadway design experience is a plus
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a strong plus
Compensation & Benefits
- The full-time annual base salary range for this position, located in Massachusetts, is $86,000 to $88,000. The base salary offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted salary range reflects base pay only.
- Additional compensation and benefits may include eligibility for incentive bonuses, retirement/401(k) plans, medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits described in the client’s Total Rewards program.
- This position supports a flexible, hybrid work environment. Specific schedule and remote/hybrid details will be shared during the hiring process.
