Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking Entry Level Hardware Engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, or RF) to join a hardware engineering team supporting aerospace & defense product development. This is a hybrid role based in the Manchester, NH area. Successful candidates will participate in a structured Year One program, work on product design, verification, and sustainment, and receive mentorship to accelerate early-career growth.
What You’ll Do
- Support product design and development using core engineering principles to meet operational, space, and functional requirements.
- Perform basic analyses, investigations, and testing against specified design requirements; compile data and present findings to senior engineers.
- Support verification and validation of hardware designs, assist in prototype fabrication and testing, and document results for design reviews.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and design review packages.
- Participate in continuous improvement of the design process and quality systems; stay current with developments in hardware engineering disciplines.
- Provide sustainment support for production hardware: troubleshoot material/performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, and verify proposed solutions.
Who We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline for entry-level Engineer I consideration.
- For Engineer II consideration: Master’s degree OR 2 years relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- Must be eligible for a U.S. DoD security clearance (ability to obtain / maintain clearance).

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills; collaborative team player.
- Electrical engineering experience in one or more of:
- Power supply / systems design
- Analog and digital circuit design
- FPGA development and VHDL programming
- Circuit simulation (PSpice or equivalent)
- Board-level design and PCB layout (Cadence Allegro experience a plus)
- RF circuit design and basic microwave technology
- Experience reading schematics and working with active/passive circuit components.
- Familiarity with software/tools such as C, C++, Perl, LabVIEW, and TestStand is a plus.

Location & Work Model
- Hybrid role: combination of onsite collaboration and remote work. Candidates should be located in or able to commute to the greater Nashua / Manchester, NH area. Specific team placements may vary across the region.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-Time Salary Range: $64,926 - $110,374 per year.
- This range reflects market pay structures; individual offers are based on experience, skills, education, location, and other factors.
