What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level hardware engineering role on a confidential client’s Defense Hardware Engineering team. You’ll work across electrical, mechanical, or RF hardware specialties, supporting product design, analysis, verification, and sustainment in a hybrid work model (onsite + remote).
- Support product design using engineering fundamentals to meet operational, space, and functional requirements.
- Perform analyses, investigations, and testing against specified design requirements; compile data and present findings to senior engineers.
- Support verification and validation of hardware designs; assist with prototype fabrication and test execution.
- Prepare and review technical documentation: specifications, drawings, test reports, and design-review packages.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by following quality and design processes and learning current hardware engineering practices.
- Provide sustainment support for production hardware, including root cause analysis and corrective action support.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
To be considered for entry-level levels posted by the confidential client:
- Engineer I: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Engineer II: Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline OR 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
Preferred Skills & Technologies
- Strong communication and organizational skills; team-oriented and resourceful.
- Experience in any of the following electrical/hardware areas:
- Power supply/systems design
- Analog and digital circuit design
- FPGA development and VHDL
- Circuit simulation (e.g., PSpice)
- PCB schematic capture and layout (Cadence Allegro)
- RF circuit design and basic microwave technology
- Familiarity with active and passive circuit components and schematic reading
- Software & test tools: C, C++, Perl, LabVIEW, TestStand (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time salary range (posted by the confidential client): $64,926 - $110,374 per year.

- Individual pay is based on factors such as experience, education, location, and internal equity.
Work Location & Additional Info
- Hybrid role with time split between onsite and remote work. Candidates may be considered across the greater Nashua / Hudson, NH area.
