Position overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry level - Graduate Trainee to support field operations in Fort Worth, TX. This entry-level, full-time role is ideal for recent graduates with a technical degree who want hands-on experience with field testing, hardware subsystems, basic scripting, and client-facing work. Frequent regional travel is required.

What You’ll Do

You will join a field operations team and contribute to regional testing, data collection, and technical reporting to ensure projects meet client and program requirements.

• Conduct on-site inspections, field testing, and data collection across regional sites
• Log and communicate regional performance metrics and technical updates
• Produce clear technical documentation and reports for internal teams and clients
• Work with hardware subsystems and perform basic scripting tasks to support field workflows
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and escalate when necessary
• Coordinate with teammates and clients to ensure project objectives are met
• Travel frequently to regional field locations (company vehicle or mileage reimbursement per policy)

Key Responsibilities

• Execute on-site inspections and standardized field tests
• Record, validate, and upload test data and performance metrics
• Translate technical findings into actionable, client-facing updates
• Maintain and document field hardware and basic software scripts
• Support continuous improvement of field processes and reporting templates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and deliverables

Minimum Qualifications

• Recent Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and organizational ability
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the region
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel requirements
• Basic scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) or willingness to learn

Preferred (nice to have)

• Hands-on experience with hardware subsystems, sensors, or instrumentation
• Prior client-facing or field technician experience
• Familiarity with field data collection tools and mobile reporting apps
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software integration issues

Location & Travel

• Primary work location: Fort Worth, TX (on-site and regional field visits)
• This role requires frequent travel to regional sites; candidates must be able to drive and be available for multi-day field assignments.

Compensation (estimated)

• Estimated annual compensation: $64,879 (per source). Final pay will depend on experience and location. Benefits and exact compensation details will be provided by Confidential Client during the hiring process.
