What You’ll Do

This entry-level full-stack role contributes to development, testing, and deployment of software and cloud infrastructure within an Agile DevOps environment. You will work on systems that support critical mission operations.

• Participate in software development using Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Build backend services with Spring Boot and integrate with Hibernate-based persistence
• Implement and maintain automated tests and validation using JUnit and Katalon
• Prototype and deploy cloud solutions on AWS and Azure
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitFlow practices, and Unix shell scripting
• Collaborate in an Agile team using JIRA and Confluence to deliver user stories
• Perform proof-of-concept, performance, and end-to-end testing to validate infrastructure and applications

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 0+ years professional experience; entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply
• Hands-on familiarity or coursework/projects with:
  • Java, JavaScript, and/or Python
  • Spring Boot and Hibernate (or similar frameworks)
  • JUnit (or unit testing) and automated test tooling
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
  • CI/CD tooling (Jenkins) and Git-based workflows
  • Unix/Linux command-line and bash scripting
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and using JIRA/Confluence

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with GitFlow-style branching and release workflows
• Exposure to automated end-to-end testing frameworks (Katalon or similar)
• Any internships, class projects, or personal projects demonstrating full-stack or cloud work

Compensation & Benefits

• Total compensation (tentative): $197,000 per year
• Specific benefits and final compensation will be provided by the client during the hiring process. Pay transparency details will be shared as part of the application process.

Security Clearance & Eligibility

• Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI-FS Poly) to be considered.
• The client will perform required background checks consistent with the role’s security requirements.
