Position overview
This entry-level Foodservice Marketing Associate role supports the Foodservice Marketing team for a Confidential Client in PR, Advertising & Marketing. The role offers hands-on exposure to brand management, sales enablement, market research, and cross-functional project coordination. Candidates will develop marketing skills and business acumen that support progression into Brand Management and other marketing leadership roles.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the execution of marketing plans, promotional programs, and new product launches.
- Support development of sales presentations, customer-facing materials, and product support resources.
- Coordinate project timelines and help commercialize new products.
- Conduct operator, customer, consumer, and industry research to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Gather and analyze sales, commodity market, and competitive data to inform business decisions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for marketing and sales leadership.
- Partner with sales teams to develop training materials and sales tools; support customer meetings and trade shows as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations to support business initiatives.
- Participate in professional development, training, and mentorship programs to prepare for future Brand Management roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Food Marketing, Business Administration, Professional Selling, Agribusiness, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in marketing, sales, business, or related field; relevant internships or project experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through internships, student organizations, athletics, work, or volunteer activities.

- Willingness to relocate as needed for the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in marketing, sales, consumer insights, or business analytics.

Location & Hours
- Full-time, salaried position based at the Corporate Office in Austin, MN.
- Limited travel may be required for customer visits, trade shows, training, or meetings.

- Competitive pay: $1,300 weekly (approximately $67,600 annually).
