Role & Responsibilities
This entry-level Financial Analyst role supports accounting and financial analysis activities for a Confidential Client in the Accounting & Finance industry. This hybrid position combines day-to-day accounting tasks with data-driven analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Update bank and credit card transactions and perform bank reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and invoice processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information
- Assist senior accountants with month-end and year-end closings
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in accounting and financial analysis
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
