Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Financial Advisor to join their Stamford, CT office. This is a hands-on, client-facing role in the financial services / wealth management industry designed for motivated, values-driven candidates who want a structured training path to a career in financial planning and wealth management.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, networking events and ongoing portfolio reviews.
- Assess clients’ financial objectives and risk tolerance to develop tailored financial strategies.
- Recommend and explain financial products and solutions that align with client needs.
- Track client progress and maintain clear, timely communication.
- Collaborate with senior advisors and participate in client meetings and mentorship activities.
- Work on-site in the Stamford, CT office (in-office presence required).
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Required / supported licensing: State Life & Health, SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (FINRA sponsorship provided where applicable).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting and building rapport.
- Entrepreneurial, client-first mindset with a track record of personal accountability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with high-performing teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Training & Development
- FINRA sponsorship for required licensing.
- Preliminary Employment Period (PEP): a comprehensive 120-day hands-on training program.
- Access to virtual learning resources and the Confidential Client’s internal development programs.
- Mentorship and one-on-one coaching with local leadership.
- Opportunities for leadership development and support to pursue professional designations (CFP®, ChFC, etc.).
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay (as shown in source): $84,852 per year (estimated).
- Stable pay program after PEP: structured support with a stable-pay option documented at $35,500 annually during initial employment phases.
- Sign-on payment eligibility: $250–$1,000 upon meeting PEP and licensing milestones (per source).
- Eligible to earn commissions and bonuses in addition to stable pay.
