What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Events Assistant to support event planning, coordination, and onsite execution for meetings, conferences, and promotional events. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain practical experience in event operations within the PR, advertising, and marketing space.
- Assist in planning and organizing events from concept through close-out
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure services, equipment, and materials
- Prepare and manage event materials (signage, badges, giveaways, agendas)
- Support attendee registration, confirmations, and pre-/post-event communications
- Provide on-site logistical support to ensure events run smoothly
- Help with setup and breakdown, inventory tracking, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate event documentation and assist with post-event reporting
Qualifications
We welcome applicants who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn. Typical qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments
- Comfortable working occasional evenings/weekends and traveling to event sites as needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with event-management tools or registration platforms is a plus
- Professional, customer-focused attitude and ability to work well on a collaborative team
