What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is looking for a proactive Entry Level Event Coordinator to support live and virtual events from planning through post-event activities. Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist in planning and coordinating logistical aspects of events from inception to completion
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to confirm requirements and timelines
- Conduct site visits, and coordinate event setup, on-site management, and breakdown activities
- Manage registration systems, attendee communications, and check-in processes
- Prepare and distribute event materials, signage, and promotional items
- Track event budgets, help process invoices, and maintain accurate event documentation
- Support post-event wrap-up tasks: attendee feedback, reporting, and lessons-learned summaries
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings strong organization, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with event management or registration software is a plus
- Reliable transportation for site visits in and around Minerva Park / Columbus area
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and collaborative team approach
