Entry-Level Estimator - DFW Region
The Entry-Level Estimator supports construction project estimating by performing quantity take-offs, assisting in pricing and bidding, and coordinating with architects, consultants, and subcontractors. This role involves reviewing estimates, preparing bid documents, and building industry relationships to ensure competitive and accurate project bids within the DFW region.

What You’ll Do
This entry-level estimator role supports preconstruction and bidding activities for commercial construction projects in the DFW market. Responsibilities include:
- Perform quantity take-offs and produce accurate material & labor quantities
- Assist in pricing and preparing bids for construction projects
- Communicate with architects, consultants, and internal teams to clarify scope, material selections, and schedules — document clarifications
- Participate in internal estimate reviews and assist with final assembly of estimates for owner presentation
- Conduct milestone reviews and help develop value alternative opportunities
- Collect and organize bid files and post-bid documentation for future reference
- Support subcontractor solicitation, review subcontractor bids, and prepare scope exhibits for subcontracts
- Assist field operations with change order pricing and support cost evaluations as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to improve competitiveness
- Keep current with estimating technology and best practices
What We're Looking For
Minimum qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic working knowledge of estimating technology/tools such as On-Screen Takeoff (OST), BIM workflows, Revit, Assemble, and Bluebeam
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs
- Good written and verbal communication skills for coordination with design teams and subcontractors
- Team-oriented, receptive to feedback in estimate review processes, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Authorized to work in the United States
You will be working on behalf of Confidential Client and will support estimating and subcontractor coordination across commercial projects in the Dallas area.
Nice to Have
- Internship or prior estimating experience in commercial construction
- Familiarity with GMP budgeting and hard-bid processes
- Demonstrated proficiency in Bluebeam, OST, Revit, or Assemble
- Local knowledge of the DFW subcontractor market
Compensation & Location
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: Dallas, TX (on-site or hybrid as determined by the confidential client)
- Estimated compensation: $92,528 per year (estimated)
