What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hosting an invitation-only hiring event in State Farm on November 18–19 to meet early-career candidates for Entry-Level Environmental Engineer roles expected to start Spring/Summer 2027. The event includes a networking mixer (Wednesday evening, 6–8 PM) and in-person interviews (Thursday) at Confidential Client’s local office.

As an Entry‑Level Environmental Engineer you will support environmental compliance, remediation, permitting, and planning projects within the Environment/Engineering business line. Typical responsibilities include:

• Site visits to industrial, military, and municipal client locations
• Field data collection and analysis for environmental compliance, sustainability, and stormwater projects
• Environmental sampling (stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste) and sample documentation
• Development of technical memoranda, reports, and environmental reporting forms
• Assist with engineering design tasks under the supervision of an experienced engineer (designs, calculations, sketches, schematic drawings)
• Use standard engineering and office software to compile and analyze data
• Perform work to meet agreed budgets and schedules under supervision
• Local travel is likely; U.S. travel may be required depending on projects

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this role (due to the nature of the work)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and successful Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment

Preferred / helpful qualifications:

• General knowledge of engineering and environmental science fundamentals
• Experience with environmental sampling and stormwater/wastewater practices
• OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., MS Office)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor with clients and regulators
• Ability to work independently in office and field settings and tolerate outdoor work in varying weather
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally for extended periods

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: USD 62,000 – USD 82,000 per year

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position

• This is a full-time, entry-level role expected to begin Spring/Summer 2027.
