What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking entry-level talent to support environmental investigation and remediation projects. Typical responsibilities include:
- Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
- Conduct air, soil, gas and groundwater sampling and assist with remediation activities.
- Assist in planning and executing site field investigations: log borings, collect samples, perform field tests, and record data.
- Perform routine and special calculations and initial data processing.
- Provide field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors to ensure compliance with job specifications.
- Identify and document solutions to field or laboratory problems; escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
- Assist with preparation of technical reports, specifications, plans, and data evaluation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience; relevant internships or co-ops preferred.
- Applicants with engineering degrees are preferred to have EIT certification or current FE registration.
- Strong technical foundation, professional demeanor, and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, multitasking ability, and sound judgment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Travel may be required depending on business needs and project assignments.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range (provided by client): $68,250—$88,750 USD per year.
