What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level environmental professional to support site investigation, assessment, and remediation projects. This is a hands-on role that combines field work, data management, and technical reporting with opportunities for mentorship and career growth.
- Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
- Collect air, soil, gas, and groundwater samples; support remediation activities on contaminated properties.
- Assist with planning and executing field investigations — log borings, collect and record samples and field data, and perform routine/special calculations.
- Provide field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors to ensure work meets specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and document field or laboratory issues; escalate complex issues to supervisors.
- Support preparation of technical reports, plans, specifications, and data evaluation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet project needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or closely related field.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships or co‑op experience preferred.
- Applicants with engineering degrees are preferred to have EIT certification or current registration for the FE exam.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical, multitasking, and judgment skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed; travel to project sites may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay: $59,664 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time (Contract position as listed).
