What You’ll Do

This Entry Level Environmental Engineer will support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects for a confidential client in the Engineering industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conduct environmental field work: collect soil and groundwater samples, perform fluid-level gauging, and gather remediation system data.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors during field activities.
  • Prepare clear, accurate field documentation, inspection records, and operation logs.
  • Process, interpret, and analyze field and laboratory data.
  • Support office work including data analysis, technical report preparation, and compliance checks against local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Travel to project sites as needed, including driving and overnight stays.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license (subject to pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record screening).
  • Ability to pass background and pre-employment substance screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not offered).
  • Willingness to work in both field and office settings and to learn new methods and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior field experience in environmental consulting or remediation.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training (Supervisory level a plus).
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to health and safety practices.

Location & Work Model

  • Work location: Glendale, CO (hybrid work model).
  • Project sites may be in Fort Collins, Denver, and other regional locations — travel and occasional overnight stays expected.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: USD 58,000 – USD 70,000 per year (range provided by the client).
  • Benefits (may vary by status): medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, paid time off, retirement plan, employee assistance programs, training and development resources, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Additional notes: relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered for this role. In-person Day 1 onboarding at a client office is required for new hires.
