Job Responsibilities

Confidential Client seeks motivated entry-level candidates to support field and technical work on environmental investigation and remediation projects. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
  • Collect air, soil, soil gas, and groundwater samples; assist with remediation activities.
  • Assist with planning and executing field investigations: log borings, collect samples, perform field tests, and record data.
  • Perform routine and special calculations and support data processing and evaluation.
  • Provide field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Identify and document technical solutions for field and laboratory problems; communicate issues to supervisors.
  • Assist with preparation of technical reports, specifications, and plans.
  • Perform other related duties and project tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

We encourage applicants who meet the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or closely related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • 0–2 years of relevant work or internship experience.
  • Applicants with an engineering degree are preferred to have EIT or GIT certification, or current registration for the exam.
  • Strong technical foundation, professional demeanor, and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, multitasking, and good judgment.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Availability to work overtime as project needs require.
  • Travel may be required based on project assignments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range (California): $68,250 — $88,750 USD per year.
  • Employment type: Full time; Contractor opportunities may apply depending on assignment.

About the Role Location

This position will support projects in and around Campbell, CA. Local and regional travel to project sites may be required.
