Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level engineers for a 3-year Entry Level Engineering Rotation — Oil & Gas Business and Technical Development Program based in the Houston area (Channelview, TX). The program includes three one-year rotations across different teams within the Construction Services business unit to build technical, manufacturing, and business skills that support innovative energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in three one-year rotations across Project Management, Customer Order Management, and Project Controls teams
- Support machining and robotic welding technologies and manufacturing (fabrication & packaging) processes
- Lead or support process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions
- Use and develop skills in ProE CAD and AutoCAD for manufacturing
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in machining and assembly contexts
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Must be able and willing to relocate to the Houston area (Channelview, TX)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing or engineering
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
- High energy level, strong sense of urgency, and good business/technical judgment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple tasks and competing deadlines
Salary & Benefits
- Summary pay range: $72,360 - $108,540 per year
