What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Engineer with strong Python and data analytics skills to support Life Sciences commercial teams. You will contribute to data pipelines, analytics, modeling, and Generative AI experiments that help drive decision‑making across Sales, Marketing, and Market Access.

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and small applications for data ingestion, cleaning, analysis, and modeling
• Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
• Build and evaluate statistical, predictive, or machine‑learning models (regression, classification, time series)
• Assist with Generative AI experimentation: LLM-based apps, prompt engineering, embeddings, and API integrations
• Produce clear data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights
• Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate problems into analytics solutions
• Document code, models, and analysis results; follow version control best practices
• Keep up to date with data analytics, ML, and Generative AI techniques and tools

What We’re Looking For (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and data libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn)
• Practical understanding of data‑cleaning, exploratory analysis, and basic statistics
• Exposure to modeling techniques (regression, classification, time series)
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, such as LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face)
• Basic SQL and experience working with databases
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Early‑career or recent graduates welcome

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Hands‑on projects, internships, or academic experience with real datasets
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Awareness of MLOps or model deployment concepts
• Experience with Git/version control
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Any Life Sciences commercial domain exposure

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $65,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program (per plan rules)
