What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to support Modular Guns Weapons System (MGWS) and Surface Warfare (SUW) Mission Package activities on Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) programs. In this hands-on engineering role you will support hardware/software engineering, system installation and modernization, systems integration, testing, data collection and analysis, document/specification updates, Test & Evaluation, and technical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, assessments, investigations, and evaluations for combat, weapon, network, and ancillary systems aboard LCS platforms and in laboratory environments.
• Support development, review, and updating of engineering, logistics, cybersecurity, analysis, and post-event reports.
• Develop, update, test, and validate hardware/software procedures, technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance/repair tasks (MRCs, CSOSS, C&L, APL/AEL).
• Respond to Casualty Reports (CASREP), provide Fleet Tech Assist (FTA) and Distance Support (DS).
• Perform shipboard and laboratory work to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, or modernize systems and equipment.
• Provide test support for Developmental Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), and Combat Systems Ships Qualification and Test (CSSQT).
• Support Availability planning/execution, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs).
• Develop/update Non-Permanent Changes (NPC), Deviations From Specification (DFS), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
• Assist with Reliability Engineering, DMSMS, FRACAS, and production/design support for weapon system equipment.
• Conduct Mission Module training and assist with training curriculum development for ship personnel, contractors, and instructors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret-level security clearance (required).

Preferred Qualifications

• ~1 year of Naval or shipboard engineering experience.
• Active Secret-level U.S. security clearance.

Security Clearance & Eligibility

Selected candidates will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a DoD security clearance. Background investigations may include criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and credit checks.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $52,000 - $82,000 per year.
