Overview
Confidential Client (a manufacturer in the industrial equipment space) is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer / Project Engineer to join their growing equipment division in North Ridgeville, OH. This full-time role pays $70,000–$80,000 and is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or an engineer with up to 3 years of experience who wants hands-on project ownership and exposure to design, build, and launch activities.
What You’ll Do
- Support equipment projects from concept through design, build, and launch.
- Create and revise 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and sales to keep projects on schedule.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvements.
- Maintain engineering documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), and change records.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 0–3 years of engineering experience (new grads, co-ops, and interns encouraged to apply).
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks (3D modeling and drawing creation).
- Strong problem-solving ability and clear communication skills.
- Comfortable splitting time between the office and the shop floor.
Nice-to-Haves
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or product development.
- Familiarity with BOM management and engineering change processes.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (production, purchasing, sales).
