About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Engineer to join its Indianapolis, IN team. This is an entry-level civil/transportation engineering role working on transportation projects and supporting design teams. You will assist with plan production, 3D modeling, specifications, cost estimates, and coordination with multi-discipline project teams. Estimated compensation: $72,388 per year (estimated).

This is a full-time role based in Indianapolis. This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist with plan production and design tasks under the direction of a licensed engineer for transportation projects
  • Create and refine 3D models from preliminary through final design
  • Support development of specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate with project staff, sub-consultants, reviewers, and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain project documentation and deliverables
  • Help deliver project tasks on time and within budget
  • Learn and apply common design software and workflows used by the team

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or related engineering BS) completed or anticipated by spring 2027
  • EIT / Engineering Intern certification preferred or plans to obtain prior to graduation
  • Design experience is a plus (internships, co-ops or coursework)
  • Experience with OpenRoads Designer a plus; Traffic Design experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Synchro and Highway Capacity Software is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; this role is not eligible for sponsorship

  • Estimated base pay: $72,388 per year (estimated)
