What You’ll Do

This entry-level engineering role is designed to develop a reliable technical contributor who produces accurate drawings, performs basic structural analysis, and supports sales and management with clear, timely deliverables. You will work under established procedures and receive training to build expertise.

  • Develop preliminary plan views, cross sections, and construction details for building projects
  • Apply basic structural analysis to determine loads on structural members
  • Use International Building Code (IBC) and ASCE 7 provisions in routine design checks
  • Learn product lines and technical standards used by the confidential client
  • Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material cost estimates for quotes
  • Attend training sessions and apply lessons to daily work
  • Answer customer technical questions within defined job scope
  • Produce consistent, error‑free work by following established procedures
  • Communicate clearly with peers, management, and sales teams to support project delivery

Who We’re Looking For

We seek a motivated, detail-oriented recent graduate or early-career engineer who wants to learn and grow in a stable, employee-focused business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Fundamental knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural design
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
  • Familiarity with building codes and structural provisions (IBC, ASCE 7)
  • Comfortable with repetitive, methodical work to ensure accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to help the team and “roll up your sleeves” when needed
  • Demonstrates reliability, follows established guidelines, and leads by example
