Entry Level Electronics Engineer
The Entry Level Electronics Engineer at Confidential Client supports the design, development, testing, and deployment of control electronics for critical manufacturing and enrichment operations. What You’ll Do
You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting design, development, testing, and deployment of control and power electronics used in manufacturing and industrial systems. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn from experienced engineers while contributing to real projects across lab and plant environments.
- Support design and build of control electronics, motor controls, and power-electronics systems
- Assist with simulations and analysis using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools
- Help create design packages, schematics, wiring diagrams, and test plans
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems in lab and production settings
- Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and production teams to integrate electronics into systems
- Contribute to technical documentation, test reports, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in electronics, embedded systems, or electrical design
- Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals (low-voltage DC and three-phase AC)
- Experience or familiarity with simulation/analysis tools (PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain (or already possess) a Q security clearance
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Hands-on lab or project experience in electronics design, testing, or troubleshooting
- Exposure to manufacturing, R&D, or industrial environments through internships or coursework
- Familiarity with electrical codes/standards such as NEC, IEEE, or ANSI
- Interest or experience in embedded systems and motor control applications
- Already holds a Q or L clearance (strongly preferred)
Compensation & Additional Details
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $65,555 - $109,259 (USD). This position is bonus-eligible. Offers consider factors such as relevant skills, experience, and education; compensation above the posted range may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Additional requirements and conditions:
- This role requires successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug test. Random testing may apply once employed.
- The position requires obtaining and maintaining a Q security clearance; a federal background investigation will be required.
- In compliance with federal law, new hires will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. (I-9 process).
