- Fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Practical experience or coursework using Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD tools for schematic capture and symbol/footprint creation.
- Demonstrated hands-on SMT hand soldering skills for small-footprint components (e.g., 0603/0402, SOIC, QFN).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Ability to be on-site in Raleigh, NC (minimum 3 days per week; hybrid up to 2 days remote when not in active lab cycles).
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, or academic lab experience with PCB design, embedded hardware, or FPGA-related projects.
- Familiarity with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- Knowledge of IPC workmanship and rework standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721).
