Responsibilities

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering design and documentation on building and site projects in Egg Harbor, NJ. This is an entry-level, full-time role working under the direction of a Project Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer.

  • Assist with design and development of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and related systems
  • Prepare electrical drawings, details, schedules, calculations, specifications, and construction documents
  • Use AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit to prepare and update engineering drawings and plans
  • Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and voltage drop analyses
  • Assist senior engineers with code research and application of applicable electrical codes and standards
  • Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, civil, and structural disciplines
  • Assist with utility coordination and communications as directed
  • Participate in field investigations, site visits, and documentation of existing electrical conditions
  • Support other engineering and technical tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate preferred
  • Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit; willingness to develop advanced CAD/BIM skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who seeks guidance when needed and follows engineering QA/QC processes

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $66,097 per year (estimated)
