Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Distribution Designer based in Tampa, FL. This full-time, onsite role (five days per week, with flexible hours) focuses on designing distribution plans for underground and overhead feeders, reviewing construction blueprints, and ensuring materials and equipment match project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare underground distribution plans related to overhead feeders.
- Review construction blueprints and engineering prints for accuracy.
- Cross-reference prints to materials lists to confirm correct materials and equipment.
- Maintain and update CAD/AutoCAD drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field crews to support project completion.
- Assist with telecom/utility underground design tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant working experience in distribution design OR a bachelor's degree in engineering with interest in utilities/distribution design.
- Proficiency with technical drawings and the ability to interpret construction blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy for materials verification.
- Ability to work onsite in Tampa, FL, full-time (five days per week).
- Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $25 per hour (as listed).
Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Tampa, FL — generally five days per week with flexible working hours.

Location & Work Authorization
This role is based in Tampa, FL and requires regular onsite attendance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to commute to the Tampa worksite.
