Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Direct Support Professional to provide play-based ABA therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years in Wheat Ridge, CO. This is a full-time, daytime role with paid training and fully covered Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Please note: a Bachelor’s degree is required and will be verified as part of the hiring process.
Pay & Schedule
- Hourly pay (based on education & prior ABA experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree: $20.00 – $25.50 per hour
- Master’s Degree: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
- Guaranteed full-time hours
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (predictable daytime hours). Optional Saturdays may be available based on patient needs.
- Start date: Immediate openings available
What You’ll Do
- Follow individualized treatment plans and collect session data
- Deliver one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy using games, movement, reading, and hands-on activities
- Stay actively engaged and model positive interaction during sessions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s progress
- Occasionally provide coverage at nearby clinics as needed
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Bachelor’s degree required — proof of degree (diploma or official transcript) must be provided before an offer is finalized
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
- Able to maintain an active pace working with young children
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
- No prior ABA experience required — paid training provided
Experience that’s a plus (not required): childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, camp counselor), tutoring, paraprofessional or caregiver roles, or degrees in Psychology, Child Development, or Health Sciences.
