What You’ll Do
This Entry-Level Design Engineer role supports tooling and equipment design used to build aircraft engines. You will help develop concepts, create design documentation, and review designs from internal teams and vendors.
- Support equipment design and development for production tooling
- Create concept sketches, layouts, and design documentation
- Prepare specifications and engineering design calculations
- Review and check drawings, designs and data produced by junior engineers, designers, and vendors
- Review supplier/subcontractor design documents and provide feedback
- Prepare and present engineering design review presentations
What We’re Looking For
The Confidential Client seeks an early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation and good communication skills.
- BS or MS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); some experience with CAD/modeling and analysis tools
- Knowledge of standard engineering practices, documentation, and project organization
- Experience or coursework in stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing processes
- Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required; must have or be able to obtain required security clearance
Nice-to-Have
- Experience using NX or other CAD modeling software
- Experience with ANSYS or similar FEA tools
- Experience with tooling or aircraft engine manufacturing environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $62,400 — $66,560 per year (range provided by the source; final offers consider education, experience, location, and discipline)
- Benefits may include: health, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off (PTO), holidays, and other paid leave as required by law
Location & Work Authorization
This position is based in Hyde Park, OH. The role supports onsite manufacturing/tooling activities and may require presence at client facilities. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
